Café and Shop

A wide range of books, posters, art postcards and gifts can be find in the museum shop.
A selection of original art books for children is of course also part of the best art bookshop in the region.

Tuesday – Sunday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Wednesday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm

During the exhibition reconstruction the museum store has the following opening hours:
Tuesday – Sunday: 10:00 am – 12:30 pm / 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Enjoy a relaxing break or a pause at Café Thunerhof. Whether on the sunny terrace overlooking the Aare or in the cosy interior with its high, historic rooms, you will find the perfect place to linger.

Whether after a visit to the art museum, a break from the nearby playground, during a walk or simply because you work in the same building – you are very welcome at the ‘Museumskafi’.
