Cantonale artists on their work – Anita Zumbühl

I am currently researching lichens and their ways of life. This often takes me outdoors to observe them. Lichens are rather small on a human scale. A magnifying glass is helpful for delving into their microscopic worlds.

I am currently processing my research primarily in a language-based manner. Words and narratives not only describe the worlds we live in, they also fundamentally influence how we perceive them. Our narratives and our perception of the world are interdependent.
