VIRTUAL ECHO: WORKS FROM THE COLLECTION IN THE VIRTUAL SPACE

In this first project of the series PIXELS & PATINA, students of Visual Communication are developing digital interpretations of artworks in the collection of the Kunstmuseum Thun. Transferring these works to the digital space opens up new perspectives and interactive approaches to classical art.

The PIXELS & PATINA project series examines what happens when traditional art meets up with digital media and critical reflections on social spaces. In collaboration with Bern Academy of the Arts (HKB), two interdisciplinary educational projects are taking an innovative approach to engaging with the museum’s collection and current digital issues.
