Tracing the origins

The group exhibition “Tracing the Origins” examines the theme of origin as an open-ended and multifaceted process. As a collective history, our origins resonate in our present day lives while shaping our notions of identity and affiliation. Artists draw on the gaps and discontinuities in this process, along with the contradictory accounts that are passed down to us, as inspiration for their work. Participating artists include Aline d’Auria, Andrea Heller, Beat Streuli, Celia and Nathalie Sidler, Céline Eidenbenz, Enrique Muñoz García, Jeanne Tara and Noha Mokhtar.
