The Other Kabul. Remains of the Garden
The exhibition brings together works by around 20 Afghan and non-Afghan artists. Their works, most of which are newly created, revolve around the garden as a microcosm of the whole world. It contains the life of people with the animals and plants, with all miracles, in all its beauty, but without sweeping under the carpet the crises that prevail on earth yesterday and today. Because whether originating from Afghanistan or not, «The Other Kabul» is a place of the future that can be located all over the world and is therefore open as a level of reflection for all.
This is a guest exhibition mounted by the non-profit association Treibsand, curated by Susann Wintsch and in collaboration with Kunstmuseum Thun.
آثار حدود 20 هنرمند افغان و « کابل دیگر: باقی ماندۀ باغ » نمایشگاه
غیرافغان را گرد هم آورده است. آثار آنها که بیشترشان تازه خلق شد هاند،
حول باغ به عنوان یک جهان کوچک م یچرخد. این، شامل زندگی مردم
با حیوانات و گیاهان، با تمام معجزات و زیبایی است، اما بدون اینکه
بحرا نهایی را که بر روی زمین حاک ماند، چه دیروز و چه امروز، زیر فرش
چه منشأ آن افغانستان باشد و « کابل دیگر » جارو کند و نادیده بگیرد. زیرا
چه نباشد، مکانی از آینده است که م یتوان آن را در هر جایی از جهان قرار
داد و بنابراین به عنوان سطحی برای بازتاب به روی همه گشوده است
این یک نمایشگاه مهمان است که توسط انجمن غیرانتفاعی ترایبساند برگزار
و توسط سوزان وینچ گردآوری شده است
