The exhibition Change of Location provides an insight into the creative processes and topics that the artists are engaged in during their overseas residencies. In contrast to the usual show, space should also be given to sketches, studies and research work. The focus is therefore less on finished works than on the way to these – the variety of activities and processes. This year Hanswalter Graf (residence in Buenos Aires, 2017) and Karen Amanda Moser (residence in Genua, 2018) will exhibit together. The City of Thun regularly provides grants to creative artists for overseas residencies.

The exhibition series Change of Location is organised jointly by the Cultural
Department of the City of Thun and the Kunstmuseum Thun and takes place during the Cantonale Berne Jura.
