The Louise Aeschlimann and Margarete Corti Scholarship is being awarded at the Kunstmuseum Thun for the third time. The Aeschlimann Corti Scholarship, which is awarded annually by the Bernese Art Society, is the most highly endowed private art scholarship in the canton of Bern. Artists up to the age of 40 who have been living in the canton of Bern for at least one year or who are citizens of the canton are eligible to participate in the scholarship competition and the associated exhibition. The exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Thun presents the selected and award-winning works from the 2015 competition.

This year’s grand prize of CHF 35,000 goes to Livia Di Giovanna (*1984). Florence Jung (*1986) and Gabriela Weidmann (*1979) are honored with sponsorship awards of CHF 15,000 each.
