Stefan Hänni

Stefan Haenni was born in Thun in 1958. He obtained his primary-school teacher’s diploma at the teacher-training college in Spiez and subsequently attended the Schule für Gestaltung [School of Design] in Bern. After working at Thun grammar school, he studied history of art, psychology and education at the universities of Bern and Fribourg. In 1989, Haenni was a founder member of the artist group “Projekt Querschnitt” [Project Cross Section], which dissolved in 1992. Since 2009, Haenni has also been writing crime stories. He lives and works in Thun.
