Heinz Meyer
Heinz Meyer was born in Bern in 1943. He was apprenticed to Fredo Meyer-Henn. From 1967 to 1971, he taught photography in Amsterdam and Monaco before returning to Switzerland. Meyer and his wife, artist Patricia Meyer, ran the Hofstatt Gallery in the basement of an old house on the Kupfergasse in Oberhofen for a while from 1978. In addition to photography, Meyer also produced woodcuts which he displayed in exhibitions along with his photographic works. Meyer died in Oberhofen in 2009.
