Elisa Daubner was born in Bielefeld (Germany) in 1981. She studied at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle between 2005 and 2007, and continued her studies at the Escuela Nacional des Artes Plàsticas in Mexico City until 2008. From 2008 to 2011 she attended the Weissensee Academy of Art Berlin, focusing on sculpture. In 2012 she was a Master’s student with Professor Hanns Schimansky with a focus on drawing. She has been showing her work in solo and group exhibitions, particularly in Germany and Switzerland, since 2007. She has been living and working in Sigriswil since 2014.
