David Favrod

David Favrod was born in Kobe in 1982. At the age of six, he and his family moved to Switzerland and he grew up in Vionnaz. He received a bachelor’s degree in photography and then a master’s degree in art direction from the École Cantonale d’Art in Lausanne. He started to display his works in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad in 2009, including the “Aller-Retour” [Return Trip] exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Thun in 2017. Favrod won the Swiss Design Award in 2010 and was selected as a Foam Talent in 2015. He lives and works in Switzerland and Spain.
